Illicit Gold Flow Map

How gold mined illegally in the Amazon, Sudan, the DRC and neighbouring countries moves to the hubs where it enters the legal gold system, and the points where it is relabelled as recycled or scrap. A dedicated UAE view shows every route into and out of Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Lines show that a source documents gold moving between two places, not the exact road, river or flight path. Coordinates are approximate. Each entry links to its source. Naming a company or person does not mean a court has found wrongdoing unless stated.
